Swanley Livery Yard is a BHS Approved Livery Yard located just 5 miles outside Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire. Both horses and riders benefit from its beautiful and idylic countryside location.
The yard is owned by Carolynne Lovett and Janet and Ken Whittaker. They purchased the yard in 2012 and have since completely transformed the old barns and landscape into custom built stables, paddocks and facilities.
Both Carolynne and Janet share a life-long passion for horses and have come together to create a friendly yard which provides a happy and pleasant environment for both horse and rider.
They are keen to ensure safety remains a top priorty for everyone on the yard and take various measures to ensure ongoing improvements are made. The British Horse Society (BHS) awarded the yard with approval in November 2015 with commended and highly commened grades in every area.
Swanley is also proud to be the first yard in Scotland to be a Trekking and Riding Society of Scotland Approved Centre.
